Let's let the Mormons answer this question. Do Mormons believe Jesus and Satan are brothers?
Mormon Doctrine page 163 states, "Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers and we were all born as siblings in heaven to them both".

Mormons believe in the Holy Bible; that is, only the part that is correct. Of course, most of the Holy Bible is incorrect to the Mormons. Mormons believe the Book of Mormons and the book entitled, "The Pearl of Great Price" are the books of divine authority, and not the Holy Bible. Mormonism is a cult. Mormons do not believe in the blood atonement of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus' sacrificial death upon the cross is meaningless to the Mormon faith. They make light of Church Hymns such as "At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, and the burden of my heart rolled away." The only place where Jesus Christ is given any prominence is in the name of their church - "THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS." Because of the name of their church, many Christians think that Mormons belong to the Christian faith. They do not. Mormons are in total opposition to every Christian Church in America. Do we really want our President to be a Mormon? Politicians and the media do not want us to make judgment concerning a person's religious faith. However, the faith of an individual is very important to Americans, regardless how the media or politicians feel about it. Our nation was founded upon the Judeo-Christian faith. Our world is in turmoil, and with the vulnerability of America, we need to have a President who can pray and call upon God for divine guidance. The very thing that has made the United States of America a great country was our belief in the Holy Bible and our faith in Jesus Christ. Let's keep it that way.
I'm very proud to be a Mormon, and yes, we do belive that Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers. Satan is the oldest brother, and was very loved by Heavenly Father and Jesus. But then Satan wanted to take Heavenly Fathers glory, while Jesus wanted only to give it to Heavenly Father. Satan was then cast down and sought to make all men miserable ever since.
I(and all my fellow Mormons, I'm sure) am very highly offened by what some nameless person("anonymous") said about Mormons.
We do belive the Bible to be the word of God, as long as it is translated correctly. There are many translations of the bible.
We also belive the Book of Mormon and the Pearl of Great Price to be the word of God. Please read them before you make an accusation.
We do belive in the atonement, and it means a lot to us. We may not wear crosses like some other christians do, but the reason for that is this: we prefer to celebrate Christ's rising; when he overcame death.
We do belong to the Christian faith.
I am very sorry that some people think that we are "in total opposition to every Christian Church in America". we are not. I, myself, have many friends of other christian faiths, as well as some of the jewish tradition.
Finally, I agree with who ever said "The very thing that has made the United States of America a great country was our belief in the Holy Bible and our faith in Jesus Christ. Let's keep it that way."
Only, lets add the Book of Mormon and the Pearl of Great Price as well.

Hello Everyone!
Goodmorning! I am Mormon to. But we actually prefer to be called LDS...because Mormon is just the name of the book. As you see, our church is not called, "The church of Jesus Christ of the Mormons." Its called, "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints." The Mormons is just a term that you guys picked out for us.
Anyway, I agree to the other guy that posted this. Ichelle Rogers. I wonder for the guy named Anonymous if he really had ever gone to the LDS church or had actually ever read the Book of Mormon. And Actually, we do believe in the Atonement of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that because of his Sacrifice for the world and even my sins, we can be redeemed and forgiven of our sins and one day live again with our eternal Heavenly Father forever. We believe that God (Heavenly Father) is the Creator of the Earth and Jesus Christ his beloved Son to be the Savior of the World, and we also believe that the Holy Spirit is the Holy Messenger of God. We believe this to be the Godhead. And we do read and take very important the Holy Bible, but we also believe as well as the Holy Bible to be the word of God.
Its really interesting to me that my religion doesnt judge all of you guys that judge mine. We are actually very open to any of those outside of the "Mormon" Religion that may have questions. We will not band you from coming inside our church, we will not turn our backs on you when you are in time of need. Our hearts are very open and we are willing to sacrifice our time to help anyone that needs our service. I myself as well have many friends that are outside of my religion even those that dont really believe there is a God...but they are still Good people and I let them to their free agency. Of course I have shared my testimony...but its their will whether they want to listen to it. I have friends from all faiths, though we do not believe in the exact same things...we are all equal.
And about the Presidential elections...I would have loved for Romney to have become president. Not just because he is LDS, but because he shared good wonderful family values...he was there for the family of our Country, he wanted the good for all people. He wasnt Greedy. He didnt support Abortion, which I myself believe to be Murder under no good cause (Unless the mother or child was in Great danger of not surviving), He was totally against Gay Marriage. And I am too. If God wanted us to be gay then he wouldnt have created opposite sex, and two men will be able to naturally have a baby together by sexual intercourse. Gay Marriage and Abortion are totally immoral and wrong and an abomination against God's Holy Plan for the family. Just like Pornography is. Pornography degrades the whole meaning of how God intended sex to be. Sex is now defiled and made dirty and corrupted because of these cold hearts and evil ways of those men that have invented it and produced it and Advertised it. So, anyway...though Romney stepped out...I still desire a Republican to be President of the United States of America. So I go for Mccain. Because a Republican is more likely to have higher standards for the family of America then a Democrat.
Sir Anonymous, you make Judgement so clearly for how you feel about us Mormons...but here is a question for you, have you ever thought to make a judgement about yourself? And why you hate so much upon others including the Religions of others? You should really follow the Politicians and the Media and not judge according to another persons faith. There is no excuse for it. And I believe that in the Holy Bible that we all read it talks about Not Judging others...we shall leave Judgement unto God the Eternal Father. He is the only Perfect one.
And I do agree also in this Statement:
"The very thing that has made the United States of America a great country was our belief in the Holy Bible and our faith in Jesus Christ. Let's keep it that way."
I hope all of you have a wonderful awesome day! Keep Smiling and enduring its worth it!
Someone wise once told me that:
"Its totally hard, but its worth it to endure."
And I suggest for all of those that would like to learn more about the LDS church, then you should speak to a Mormon. Speak to the Missionaries of our Faith. And really read the Book of Mormon. You will come to find out that we do believe In God and Jesus Christ and also find out that its not Just Prominently named after our Church. And I suggest you read the other Book to. So, we are Christians and I hope one day all of us can work together and really keep America how it has always been. Religion wise.

wow, i am surprised by all of these comments on this web site. I am a returned missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints and i have so many things to express. i just want to express to Mr. anonymous that i myself am a very outspoken person and it can be a good thing because nothing is ever left hiding. I do however know also that everything and everyone deserves the benefit of a doubt. Even when something appears wrong or misunderstood i am sure to stop right there, think it through and even speak to my Heavenly Father to ask if it is right, or just listen to the Holy Spirit to help me discern what is just and good over what is bad. My point is, that i can very much understand that you have heard many things about our religion wether they be good or bad, but i can also tell you that if you step back just a few feet and look at the big picture, a different angle of the situation or scenario you will begin to see things a little bit differently. The easiest answer is ask God himself. He is your God and Mine and He loves us so much that i can promise you He will answer if you truely desire to know something. If you are a Christian yourself i know you know the power of prayer, well put it to the test with something besides what you are use to if that is what you are use to. Its amazing what i can say that He has helped me with. I also like millions of others know of the truthfulness and reality of not only the Bible but also other great revelations that teach the same simple, precious doctrines as another whitness. All of these writings, modern day prophets and my Savior have all changed my life in a way i cannot describe nor repay to our Heavenly Father. We all have our agency, we must use it wisely and rely upon our only true God and Savior (proverbs 3:5-6)
i encourage you to see what you feel.
i have never been happier in my life.
You guys are all right about us LDS people. But if whoever is reading this, and wants to learn more about us just buy a Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great price, and a Bible. You all forgot one book though, the Doctorine & Covanents.
Anybody who reads the Bible teaches that Christ and Satan were Brother's.
